Account Registration
Eligibility and age verification
- Age requirement: You may create an Account only if you are at least 18 years old or older than the minimum legal age for gambling in your country of residence, whichever is higher. The Operator strictly prohibits the creation or use of an Account by any person under 18 years of age.
- Jurisdictional legality: It is your sole responsibility to ensure that accessing the Site, opening an Account and placing Bets are lawful in your jurisdiction. In Australia, the provision of certain interactive gambling services to persons physically present in Australia is prohibited under the IGA and has resulted in ACMA blocking orders against Golden Reels. You acknowledge that the Operator does not encourage or authorise use of the Site from within Australia where such use would breach the IGA or other applicable laws.
- One account policy: Each User may hold only one Account with the Operator. Duplicate, anonymous or shared accounts are strictly prohibited and may be closed, with Bets voided and Bonuses forfeited.
Registration process
- Account creation: To open an Account you must complete the online registration form, providing a valid email address, full name, date of birth, country of residence and any other information requested. You must confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Email verification: After submitting the registration form you may be required to verify your email address by clicking on a confirmation link sent to the email you provided. The Operator may restrict access to certain features until verification is completed.
- KYC documents: Before permitting deposits, withdrawals or continued gameplay, the Operator may request KYC documentation, which may include:
- Government-issued photo identification (passport, national ID card or driver licence);
- Proof of residential address (utility bill or bank statement issued within the last 3 months);
- Proof of ownership of Payment Methods (card statements, e-wallet screenshots, bank statements);
- Information on the source of funds or wealth where required by anti-money laundering (AML) or counter-terrorism financing (CTF) obligations.
- Verification checks: The Operator may conduct electronic checks, request certified copies, or require live verification procedures. Until verification is completed to the Operator's satisfaction, the Account may be suspended, and deposits or withdrawals may be limited.
User obligations and security
- Accuracy of data: You warrant that all information you provide is true, complete and up to date. You must promptly update your details through your Account or by contacting [email protected] if any information changes.
- Password and access security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity conducted through your Account. You must:
- Choose a strong, unique password and keep it secure;
- Not share your login credentials with any third party;
- Immediately notify the Operator at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Use of account: You agree that:
- You are acting on your own behalf and not on behalf of another person;
- You will not use your Account for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering or payment card misuse;
- You will not allow any other person, including minors, to access or use your Account.
- Verification failure: If you fail to provide requested KYC documents, or if the Operator reasonably suspects that information provided is false or misleading, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, void Bets and withhold Bonuses in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
General gameplay conditions
- Availability of Games: The Operator offers Games provided by itself and third-party suppliers (including, without limitation, Pragmatic Play, whose RNG has been certified by GLI for certain games). Game availability may vary by jurisdiction and may be restricted where local laws prohibit access, including in Australia under ACMA blocking orders.
- Game rules: Each Game has its own specific rules, pay-tables and instructions. By placing a Bet you confirm that you understand and accept the applicable game rules displayed within the Game interface.
- Random number generation: Outcomes of digital Games are determined by random number generators (RNGs). While the Operator endeavours to use certified RNGs and reputable providers, you accept that outcomes are random and that you have no expectation of profit.
Placing bets and limits
- Placing a Bet: A Bet is placed when:
- You have sufficient Real Money Balance or eligible Bonus Balance;
- You select your stake in the Game interface; and
- You confirm the Bet by pressing the relevant "Bet", "Spin", "Play" or similar button.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each Game specifies minimum and maximum Bet limits. The Operator may impose additional Account-level limits, including daily, weekly or monthly betting limits, to comply with AML/CTF obligations or internal risk controls.
- Currency: Bets are denominated in the Account currency specified at registration or changed with the Operator's consent. Where cryptocurrency is used, the value in fiat currency will be determined at the time of the transaction according to the Operator's internal rate.
Bet confirmation, modification and cancellation
- Bet confirmation: A Bet is accepted once it is registered on the Operator's servers and reflected in your betting history. If a discrepancy exists between your device display and the Operator's records, the latter will prevail.
- Modification: After a Bet is accepted, you cannot modify the amount, selection or conditions of the Bet.
- Cancellation by the Operator: The Operator may cancel or void Bets, in whole or in part, where:
- A technical error or malfunction (including RNG failure, communication outage, or software bug) affected the outcome or display;
- There is evidence or reasonable suspicion of fraud, collusion, exploitation of vulnerabilities or other prohibited conduct;
- The Bet was accepted while your Account was self-excluded, closed or otherwise restricted; or
- The Bet was placed in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
Conduct in live casino, chats and interactions
- Respectful behaviour: When using live casino features, chat rooms or any interactive communication channels, you must:
- Refrain from insults, threats, harassment, hate speech or discriminatory language;
- Not publish or disseminate illegal, defamatory, obscene or otherwise inappropriate content;
- Not promote other gambling sites, products or services without the Operator's prior written consent.
- Prohibition of fraud and unfair play: You must not:
- Use software, bots, scripts or any automated methods to participate in Games;
- Exploit software bugs, loopholes or obvious errors in odds, bonus configuration or Game mechanics;
- Collude with other Players or third parties to gain an unfair advantage.
- Monitoring: The Operator may monitor chat communications and gameplay to ensure compliance with these rules and may mute, restrict or ban Users from chats or Games in case of violations.
Bonus Terms
Bonus eligibility and activation
- Eligibility: Bonuses and promotions on goldenreels-aussie.com are offered at the Operator's sole discretion and may be targeted to specific Players or regions. You are responsible for ensuring that you are legally permitted to receive and use Bonuses in your jurisdiction.
- Activation: A Bonus may require:
- Opt-in through the promotions page or Account settings;
- Entry of a valid bonus code; and/or
- A qualifying deposit meeting minimum amount and payment method criteria.
- Bonus and Real Money Balances: Unless stated otherwise, Real Money Balance is used for Bets before Bonus Balance. Winnings derived from Bonus Balance may remain subject to wagering requirements and other conditions until fully satisfied.
Wagering requirements and timeframes
- Standard wagering: Each Bonus is subject to specific wagering requirements (for example, 35x the Bonus amount, or 35x the sum of deposit and Bonus). These requirements will be clearly displayed in the promotion terms and must be fulfilled before:
- Bonus funds are converted to Real Money Balance; or
- Withdrawals of associated winnings can be processed.
- Contribution of different games: Different Games may contribute differently towards wagering requirements. For example:
- Most video slots: up to 100% contribution;
- Table games and live casino: reduced or 0% contribution;
- Certain low-risk bets or specific titles: excluded from wagering.
- Time limits: Bonuses and free spins are typically subject to expiry periods (for example, 7 - 30 days from activation). If wagering requirements are not met within the specified timeframe, any remaining Bonus Balance and associated winnings may be forfeited.
Prohibited actions relating to Bonuses
- Bonus abuse: The following, without limitation, may be treated as Bonus abuse:
- Opening multiple Accounts to claim the same promotion more than once;
- Using a VPN, proxy or false registration data to circumvent geographic or eligibility restrictions, including ACMA blocking orders in Australia;
- Placing low-risk or hedge bets (for example, betting on both red and black in roulette) to artificially meet wagering requirements;
- Delaying Game rounds, free spins or bonus features to a later time when no wagering requirement is active;
- Engaging in patterns of play that are inconsistent with normal recreational usage.
- Maximum bet with Bonus: The Operator may impose a maximum Bet size while a Bonus is active (for example, a fixed amount per spin or game round). Bets placed above the stated maximum may lead to confiscation of Bonus funds and related winnings.
- Combining promotions: Unless explicitly allowed, you may not combine multiple active Bonuses simultaneously. Only one Bonus may be active on your Account at a time, and the Operator may determine the order in which Bonuses are applied and settled.
Bonus adjustment and cancellation
- Right to amend or withdraw: The Operator may modify or cancel any Bonus or promotion where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, correct errors, or prevent fraud, provided that such changes do not unreasonably affect rights already accrued under the promotion.
- Non-transferability: Bonuses are personal to the Player to whom they are issued and may not be sold, transferred or exchanged.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit methods and conditions
- Deposit options: Subject to availability in your jurisdiction, the Operator may offer deposits via:
- Credit and debit cards;
- E-wallets and online payment services;
- Bank transfers;
- Approved cryptocurrencies.
- Ownership of Payment Method: You may deposit only from Payment Methods registered in your own name. The Operator may request evidence of ownership and may reverse deposits made from third-party accounts.
- Deposit limits: The Operator may apply minimum and maximum deposit amounts per transaction or per period, and may adjust such limits at its discretion or in accordance with AML/CTF policies and responsible gambling measures.
- Fees and processing times: The Operator aims to process deposits promptly but cannot guarantee immediate availability of funds due to banking or network delays. The Operator may charge reasonable processing fees or pass on fees imposed by payment providers, which will be disclosed where applicable.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawal requests: You may request withdrawals of your available Real Money Balance, subject to:
- Successful completion of all required KYC checks;
- Settlement of all pending Bets;
- Compliance with wagering requirements for any active Bonuses.
- Payment channels: Withdrawals will, where possible, be processed to the same Payment Method used for deposit. The Operator may require that withdrawals are split across multiple transactions or methods in line with payment provider rules and AML/CTF obligations.
- Withdrawal limits and timeframes: The Operator may impose minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts per transaction, day, week or month. Processing times may vary depending on internal checks and third-party payment providers; indicative timeframes will be published on the Site but are not guaranteed.
- Verification before payout: The Operator may at any time request additional documents before approving a withdrawal, including updated ID, proof of address or payment method ownership. Failure to provide such documents may result in cancellation or delay of the withdrawal and possible Account suspension.
Chargebacks, reversals and refunds
- Chargebacks and reversals: If you initiate a chargeback, reversal or dispute of a transaction with a payment provider, the Operator may:
- Immediately suspend or close your Account;
- Void Bets and Bonuses funded by the disputed payment;
- Recover outstanding amounts from your Account balance or future deposits.
- Refunds: Deposits are not generally refundable once used for gameplay. In exceptional circumstances (for example, technical fault causing duplication of charges), the Operator may consider a refund of unused deposits, subject to AML/CTF checks and deduction of any associated costs.
- Invalid or illegal transactions: Where payments are linked to fraud, money laundering, use of stolen payment instruments or other unlawful activity, the Operator may freeze or confiscate funds and cooperate with relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
Currency exchange and crypto considerations
- Exchange rates: Where deposits or withdrawals involve currency conversion, the Operator or its processors may apply exchange rates and fees determined at the time of the transaction. The Operator is not liable for losses arising from currency fluctuations.
- Cryptocurrency risks: If cryptocurrency is accepted, you acknowledge the volatility, irreversibility and technical risks associated with such transactions. Deposits or withdrawals may be considered completed only after the requisite number of network confirmations.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's obligations
- Provision of services: The Operator will use reasonable care and skill to provide access to the Site, Games and related services in a fair, secure and reliable manner, consistent with its Curaçao licence conditions and industry standards.
- Fairness and integrity: The Operator uses reputable game providers and RNG systems (including certified RNGs such as those tested by GLI for Pragmatic Play games) to ensure that outcomes are random and not manipulated in favour of the Operator.
- Accuracy of results: Game outcomes and balance calculations are recorded on the Operator's servers. In the case of discrepancy, the server records will prevail, and the Operator will correct any Account balances accordingly.
Exclusions of liability
- Technical failures: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any loss, damage or expense resulting from:
- Technical failures, defects or interruptions in the Site, Games, software, RNGs or servers;
- Internet or network outages, latency, data loss or compatibility issues with your hardware or software;
- Viruses, malware or other harmful components, unless caused directly by the Operator's failure to exercise reasonable care.
- Third-party services: The Operator is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party service providers, including payment processors, telecommunications providers, RNG certification bodies or game suppliers, except to the extent required by mandatory law.
- Legal status in Australia: You acknowledge that ACMA has issued blocking orders against Golden Reels for breaches of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and that access to the Site from within Australia may be technically or legally restricted. The Operator disclaims any liability for your attempt to circumvent such restrictions or for consequences arising from your unlawful use of the Site.
Limitation and cap on damages
- Indirect losses: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.
- Maximum liability: Where the Operator is found liable to you in connection with a specific Bet, Game or transaction, its total aggregate liability will not exceed:
- The amount of the Bet or Wager placed; or
- Where the claim does not relate to a specific Bet, the lesser of (a) the amount of Real Money Balance in your Account at the relevant time; and (b) AUD 1,000 (or equivalent).
- Non-excludable rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any non-excludable consumer guarantees that may apply under Australian consumer law if and to the extent that such law is held to apply.
